FIND YOUR FORMAT
Choose Your Car Fragrance Format
Start with where you want your fragrance to sit. A vent clip attaches to a suitable air vent, where airflow helps distribute the scent. A hanging freshener offers an alternative placement, without using the vent.
Both formats let you choose a fragrance for your car, but their fitting and care requirements differ. Compare the options below, then check the individual product information before ordering.
Swipe across the table to compare both formats.
| What to compare | Vent clip | Hanging fragrance |
|---|---|---|
| Placement | A compatible car air vent | A suitable hanging position that keeps your view and controls clear |
| Fragrance format | Solid tablets inside a metal holder | A hanging fragrance bottle |
| Airflow | Vent airflow helps carry the scent | Does not need to attach to an air vent |
| Replacement | Replace the tablet and reuse the holder | Follow the instructions for the selected product |
| Duration | Up to 30 days per tablet; two supplied for consecutive use | Check the duration stated on the individual product page |
Choose a vent clip if you prefer fragrance positioned on the dashboard. Choose a hanging design if you want to leave your vents free. The right option depends on your car’s layout as well as your personal preference.
YOUR SCENT, YOUR SPACE
Find Your Preferred Scent
A fragrance name is a useful starting point, but its notes help you make a more informed choice. Think about the perfumes or home fragrances you already enjoy: bright citrus, fresh tea, fruit and flowers, or warmer woods.
CITRUS & TEA
White Tea
For a citrus-and-tea profile, explore our White Tea vent clip fragrance . Its composition includes tangerine, tea and bergamot, with floral notes and a woody-musk base.
FRUITY & FLORAL
English Pear
If you prefer fruit with a floral character, consider English Pear car fragrance . Pear and honeydew melon combine with rose and freesia, offering a different direction from a citrus-led scent.
WARM & WOODY
Sandalwood
Explore Sandalwood hanging car fragrance if you enjoy warmer fragrance profiles. Its composition features soft spice, sandalwood, musk and amber.
BERRY & FLORAL
Cassis Rose & Oud
Compare Cassis Rose & Oud vent clip fragrance for a berry and floral composition with a woody base. Read the full fragrance notes to see how it differs from the other scents.
Fragrance character and strength are different things. A woody scent is not automatically stronger than a fresh one, so read the full description and consider the preferences of anyone who regularly travels with you.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
What Comes with Your Vent Clip?
Each Aroma Desire vent clip pack contains a reusable metal holder and two solid fragrance tablets. Fit one tablet at a time, keeping the second for replacement when the first needs changing.
Each tablet provides up to 30 days of fragrance. Used consecutively, the two tablets provide up to 60 days per pack, rather than 60 days from a single tablet. Actual duration and perceived strength vary with temperature, airflow and use.
The solid tablet system does not require a liquid fragrance reservoir. For fitting information and the available scents, browse our vent clip collection .
EVERYDAY CARE
Using and Caring for Your Car Fragrance
Follow the instructions supplied with your chosen product. Before fitting a vent clip, compare the holder with your vent design and check that the attachment is suitable. Position hanging products where they cannot obstruct your view or interfere with vehicle controls.
Keep the interior clean by removing rubbish and dealing with spills promptly. Car fragrance adds scent; it does not replace cleaning or remove the source of a persistent odour.
Temperature, ventilation and placement can affect how noticeable a fragrance feels. Use the product’s care guidance when replacing a tablet or refreshing a hanging fragrance, rather than applying the same instructions to every format.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between car fragrance and a car air freshener?
The terms are often used interchangeably for products that add scent to a vehicle. Compare the product’s format, fragrance notes and usage instructions rather than assuming either name indicates better quality or performance.
How long do Aroma Desire car air fresheners last?
Our vent clip packs contain two tablets, each providing up to 30 days of fragrance. Use them one after the other for up to 60 days in total. Hanging fragrance duration depends on the selected product; check its individual page for guidance.
Should I choose a vent clip or a hanging freshener?
Choose a vent clip if you want fragrance positioned at a compatible air vent. A hanging freshener may suit you if you prefer an alternative position and want to keep your vents free. Check fitting and placement requirements before deciding.
How do I choose a car fragrance?
Start with fragrance families you already enjoy, then compare the individual notes. Citrus and tea, fruity florals and warmer woods offer different scent characters. Also check which format your preferred fragrance is available in.
Will a vent clip fit my car?
Compatibility depends on your air vent’s design. Compare the product’s fitting information with your vehicle before ordering. If you are unsure, contact Aroma Desire for help.
Will a car air freshener remove persistent odours?
A fragrance adds scent but should not be relied on to remove an odour’s source. Clean the affected area and investigate smells that keep returning before adding more fragrance.
